Meridian is home to the Meridian Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1990. An all-volunteer full symphony orchestra, the Symphony presents five concerts each season, including a free outdoor concert during Meridian Dairy Days. They also host a Young Artists’ Competition each year, with the winners featured as soloists during one concert.

The Meridian Arts Commission is dedicated to furthering the Arts in Meridian.  From supporting performing arts to developing a public art collection for the City, the Commission partners with other community groups to expand the art and cultural offering of Meridian.
